What we hold about you

Your email address, a hash of your password, your codes, the destinations you set, and your orders. That is all an account is.

What we hold about the people who use your codes

A daily total per code, and nothing else. We do not keep a per-request log, we do not store the addresses your customers connect from, and we cannot tell you or anyone else who used a code or when. This is a deliberate limit on the service, not an oversight: a record of who used which service and when is exactly the record that should not exist.

Destinations are encrypted

The address behind a code is encrypted before it is stored, with a key that is not held in the database. A copy of the database on its own does not reveal anybody's server.

IP addresses

Where we record an address for security purposes — sign-ins and abuse limits — it is hashed first, and the hash expires. We never store the address itself.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the suppliers needed to run the service: Cloudflare hosts it and Resend delivers our email. We do not sell data, we run no advertising, and there is no analytics or tracking script on this site.

Your rights

You can see everything we hold about you on your account page, change it, or close the account, which deletes it. For anything else, email support@linkacode.com.
